課程概述 |

相對閱讀活動過往今來之於人類社會和人類文明的重要性，閱讀史的研究卻出現得相當晚。在歐美研究中，閱讀的歷史依據哪些文獻資料、如何以不同於文學史、思想史等著重於作者、文本的角度，得以呈現之？在過去三十年，歐美閱讀史研究者取之書籍史、文化史、書目學以及文學批評的長處，針對歐洲史上有關讀者是誰？閱讀什麼？為何閱讀？在哪裡閱讀？如何閱讀等問題，提供了豐富的研究成果。本課程將以近代歐洲為範圍，帶領同學一方面深入了解在這段時期歐洲社會所形塑出的閱讀行為，以及閱讀活動對於社會產生的影響。另一方面俾使同學掌握閱讀史研究的理論反省，以具備從事閱讀史研究的基礎能力。 |
